As a summer of sports fixtures and music festivals gathers pace, so too do sales of NICE, a canned wine that counts Wimbledon and Lord’s Cricket Ground among its distributors.

Started by Lucy Busk and Jeremy May in 2019, NICE lays claim to be the fastest growing canned wine brand in the UK, selling a can every ten seconds. Having recorded sales of £1.6 million in 2021, the company is expected to hit £5.1 million in 2022 and is sold through Sainsbury’s, Ocado and Amazon. It’s now served on all Virgin Atlantic flights and is available to music lovers at 159 festivals across the UK this summer.
