Tom Brady laughs at mean tweets about Jimmy Kimmel … until someone comes after his dog – CBS Boston

BOSTON (CBS) – One of the better things about late-night TV is that celebrities read their mean tweets for Jimmy Kimmel on camera. The late night host and comedian staff usually get as many people as they can to read a few tweets and save the best for a montage that leads to lots of laughter.

One of those celebrities in the past has been Tom Brady as it isn’t particularly difficult to find people on the internet who hate his courage. And while the Kimmel show has revealed clippings from Brady’s work in the past, the show played the longer cut of mean tweets before the Super Bowl on Sunday.

As always, it’s difficult to see without giggling as Brady reads the vitriol of some of his fiercest haters.

Brady seemed to enjoy being labeled bold and other rather mean insults, but once a tweeter got his dog into the equation, the QB couldn’t take it anymore.

“This is [bleeped] upstairs! ”said Brady.

We had seen the dog clip when Brady’s mean tweet reading was included in a larger montage, but when coupled with the rest of those mean tweets, it becomes clear that Brady can withstand all the personal insults the internet can generate. Just don’t wish your dog any harm.

Tom Brady and John Wick would no doubt make quick friends.

Brady enjoyed having fun with Kimmel for some time. Last year, he threw a soccer ball through Matt Damon’s window to start the flame of a long-running feud between Damon and Kimmel.

Between this work and that old Funny or Die sketch, some of his commercials, and his guest appearance on Ted 2, Brady can take comfort knowing he’ll have a nice side appearance on late night comedy if he ever quits to play soccer.
