Google’s Pixel 5a is coming and its design won’t surprise anyone at all.
Steve Hemmerstoffer has made detailed renderings of the upcoming affordable Pixel phone along with a fairly comprehensive list of specifications.
According to the report, the Pixel 5a will have a unibody back with a dual rear camera on the back and a 6.2-inch OLED FHD + flat display on the front. The selfie camera is located in a cutout in the upper left corner of the display.
Other important details are a fingerprint sensor on the back, a 3.5-millimeter headphone jack and stereo speakers.
In terms of design, the Pixel 5a leak has to be the least satisfactory leak of all time as the phone is a dead alarm for last year’s Pixel 4a 5G, which isn’t all that different from the Pixel 5a. But hey, it’s the Google way: the company doesn’t experiment a lot with the design of its smartphones, and we suspect that’s fine as long as they do the job right.

Hemmerstoffer doesn’t have details on the price of the Pixel 5a, however, so we reserve our judgment until we hear something official.
