Only a week left to enter the PlymouthLive Business Awards

The PlymouthLive Business Awards have launched for 2021 – and if you haven’t submitted a nomination yet, now is your chance to do so. The awards – with joint headline sponsors The University of Plymouth and City College Plymouth – will be held on November 3. Nominations are open now, and will be open until August 17 – to enter, or for more information on the awards, visit the official website.

The awards will celebrate the work of business and individuals in Plymouth that have accomplished something of note in the last 12 months. We feel that the awards are more important than ever this year, after industry in Plymouth and across the country faced serious challenges as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Despite these challenges, Plymouth businesses, entrepreneurs, and employees faced them head on – working tirelessly to adapt to a new economic situation, and new rules around how companies could work. More than just survive, some businesses were even able to thrive during this time – using it as a chance to innovate and change the way they work for the better.

One of this year’s headline sponsors of the awards is the University of Plymouth. Rich Adams, Business Engagement Manager at the university said: “The University of Plymouth is thrilled to sponsor these awards that showcases some of the very best innovators and industry leaders in our city. This event provides an opportunity to celebrate our brilliant business ideas and successes and promises to be a fantastic evening.”

Our other headline sponsor for this year’s awards is City College Plymouth.
