Howell Hardwood Flooring’s Marketing Director receives national business recognition

In its December / January issue, Hardwood Floors Magazine recognized 40 industry professionals under the age of 40 who will help determine the future of the wood flooring industry. Allison Chapman, director of marketing at Howell Hardwood Flooring in Dothan, was one of the “40 Under 40” men and women whose professional track record recognized her as some of the brightest stars today before her 40th birthday.

Allison guided Howell Hardwood Flooring through a branding process for its unfinished line of products, which Howell now calls Hapwood. She developed a joint marketing program to be used in collaboration with clients to promote builders, designers and planners in their local markets for locally finished floors with a focus on Hapwood.

Chapman worked with the sales team to develop a Certified Provider program that offers the company’s premium warranty against seasonal movements.

Chapman is a graduate of Auburn University and joined the Howell team in 2017. She was the community’s volunteer coordinator for projects like blood donation drives, bottled water donations for disaster relief, river cleanup, and the company-wide program to save water in November. She was also involved in two Habitat for Humanity projects.
