Call to all business workshop moderators

Mornington Peninsula Shire invites skilled and avid Workshop Facilitators who are eager to assist our local businesses on their recovery journey.

The Shire has developed a workshop program to help micro and small businesses recover from the effects of COVID-19. Workshops include bringing businesses online, building business resilience, commercializing new business ideas, growing capacity, increasing sales, people, best business practices, and anything that will help owners work on their business instead of their business.

We are looking for moderators who offer both practical experience in the workplace and workshops.

Currently, all of our workshops are online and require moderators to organize an online forum like Zoom.

We’ll help you promote your workshops on our Shire website, our Mornington Peninsula Business website, as well as on social media and other outlets outside of the Shire networks. We can also accept bookings for your workshops through Eventbrite.

The Mornington Peninsula has a diverse local economy, including tourism, agriculture, retail, manufacturing, construction, and business services, generating a gross regional product of $ 6.3 billion. Our economy varies across a number of industries and supports more than 48,000 jobs.

If you’re interested in sharing skills and knowledge with a wide variety of companies, we’d love to hear from you!
