Berkshire Business Growth Hub launches start-up program

The Thames Valley Berkshire Business Growth Hub kicked off the new year with a free startup course to help budding entrepreneurs across Berkshire turn their business ideas into reality.

With increasing demand for its fully funded pre-accelerator program, the Growth Hub is offering Berkshire residents the opportunity to apply for a three-day online version of this popular course that will provide participants with the basic skills and knowledge they need for needing a successful start their own business.

The pre-accelerator program will be delivered through a series of interactive virtual workshops by Enterprise Exchange on behalf of the Growth Hub.

Sessions cover everything from creating a business plan to registering a company and raising funds to developing sales and marketing strategies.

There are only 20 places left on the program, which starts on Wednesday January 27th and runs every Wednesday for three weeks.

Peter Fleming, Manager of the Berkshire Growth Hub, said, “Our Pre-Accelerator course is ideal for anyone looking to start a business for the first time.

“It is designed to give individuals the knowledge and confidence they need to get their new business off to the best possible start.

“In a series of three interactive workshops, participants receive practical advice and have the opportunity to network with other entrepreneurs.

“Last year we received an unprecedented number of requests from people who want to be their own boss. In response to this demand, we have developed a three-day online version of our successful Pre-Accelerator program.

“We expect this January program to be very popular, so we encourage prospects to apply as soon as possible.”
